Southlands to be Home for New Urgent Care Center
Local Emergency Physicians with ties to the Air Force are excited to announce the likelihood of their opening a state-of-the-art Urgent Care facility in the Southlands area of Aurora. OnPoint Urgent Care plans to offer full service urgent medical care and occupational medicine to the neighborhoods and businesses adjacent to the intersection of E-470 and Smoky Hill Rd beginning in summer of 2009. The beautiful new facility staffed with board-certified Emergency Physicians and experienced acute care support staff will feature leading edge technology and expert care with a degree of comfort and amenities rarely seen in comparable medical facilities.
Drs. Jeff Bushnell, Paul Morton, and Jon Mihok, all experts in urgent and emergency care bring a broad and varied range of experience to the practice. Inner city trauma centers, remote Himalayan expeditions and the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan have served to shape the character and hone the skills of these providers. They believe their unique professional experiences will translate to a higher level of community care. The emergency physicians stress their experience caring for all age groups and all types of medical conditions. They will provide acute medical and minor trauma care for the entire family.
In addition to providing immediate access for neighborhood injury and illnesses, OnPoint will offer a full range of Occupational Medicine care and Preventative Medicine services.
