New Urgent Care Facility Soon to Open in the Southlands Area
Local emergency physicians are opening the first OnPoint Urgent Care in the Southlands area early this summer. Drs. Jeff Bushnell and Paul Morton, both board certified emergency medicine physicians, have been working for more than two years to bring comprehensive walk-in medical care to the Aurora communities adjacent to Southlands. OnPoint Urgent Care, the anchor tenant in Eagles Nest Village Center, is located conveniently behind the new Walgreens at the intersection of E. Smoky Hill Rd and S. Aurora Parkway.
Dr. Jon Mihok, also a board certified emergency physician and the group’s managing partner, will open this 10 bed, 5,100+ square foot, state-of-art facility on July 13th with the goal of offering extraordinary care in a patient centered environment with the latest technology at their fingertips. The physicians are committed to providing an alternative to difficult access to care and long wait times by offering convenient walk-in hours 7 days a week. The generous size and design of the facility allows for excellent patient flow which, for the consumer, means a much shorter stay. Accompanying family and friends will stay busy in the beautiful waiting area, with the numerous flat screen televisions, refreshment bar, computer work stations, WiFi, and the KidZone. Those that need quieter reflection can choose to read in an overstuffed chair next to our fireplace.
